35th Annual Virginia Glass Guild Juried Exhibition
The Virginia Glass Guild presents a juried exhibition featuring various forms of glass created by artists across Virginia. The exhibition showcases a wide range of glass processes, including blown, carved, and painted glass. This year's exhibition was juried by Dr. Carolyn Swan Needle, the Carolyn and Richard Barry Curator of Glass at the Chrysler Museum.
Juror's Statement
"Our community is very lucky to have such enthusiastic and talented glass artists living and working here in Virginia, crafting artworks that enthrall the eye and entice the mind. The works submitted for this year’s exhibition included a fascinating variety of blown, cast, kiln-formed, flame-worked, mosaic, stained glass, and mixed-media objects, making it a true pleasure to jury the 35th exhibition of the Virginia Glass Guild. Many thanks and congratulations to all the artists for their vision and participation!"
